DORAL, Fla.—October 14, 2025—Northstar Financial Planners, a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor based in Plantation, Fla., proudly sponsored the Local 1403 Casino Night and Poker Tournament for the second consecutive year. Held October 10 at the Fire Tower in Doral, the Havana Nights–themed evening brought together community members, firefighters, paramedics, and supporters to raise funds for the Dade County Association of Firefighter Charities, Inc.
Guests enjoyed a vibrant celebration complete with casino games, a poker tournament with cash prizes, a premium open bar, music, raffles, and Latin-inspired décor. The Havana Nights theme added extra flair, with many attendees embracing the spirit of Old Havana by dressing in festive attire, enjoying Cuban-style music, and celebrating in an atmosphere full of color, culture, and camaraderie.
Proceeds from Casino Night will help provide vital resources for local firefighters and their families, including support for those facing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other challenges unique to the firefighting community.
