At the end of this year, we will celebrate an important milestone at Northstar Financial Planners: the retirement of our longtime colleague and friend, Gary Glanz, effective December 31, 2025. After 33 years as a financial advisor—including 25 years with Northstar—Gary is stepping into a well-earned next chapter.

Throughout his career, Gary has guided hundreds of individuals and families through some of life’s most meaningful financial decisions. What has always set him apart is not just his deep expertise, but the care, patience, and genuine connection he has brought to every client relationship. His impact on the Northstar community has been profound, and his presence will be greatly missed.

As Gary transitions into retirement, he leaves his clients in excellent hands. Many of you already know Charlie Thomas, CFP®, who will continue providing the thoughtful planning support and personal attention you’ve come to expect.
